November 12-15, 2025 | Marriot Pinnacle, Vancouver, BC Canada

3rd International Conference

Patient’s Voice 2025 marks the third international conference focused on advancing the inclusion of patient voices in health and social care education. Building on the momentum of the 2015 Vancouver Statement, this year’s conference will explore progress made over the past decade and highlight innovations, practices, and theories that center lived experience in the education of current and future professionals.

Over three days, the conference will showcase collaborations between educators and patient or community groups that bring authentic, autonomous patient voices into curricula and training. Participants will engage with examples of meaningful involvement that enrich learning and support more responsive, person-centered care.

The conference is international and interprofessional in scope, welcoming participants from a wide range of health and social care disciplines. Attendees may include educators, practitioners, patients, clients, service users, carers, community organizations, researchers, policy makers, and students from health and social care programs.  Disciplines represented may include medicine, nursing, midwifery, physical therapy, occupational therapy, pharmacy, kinesiology, social work, dietetics, audiology, speech-language pathology, and others.

Registration is now open!
Your registration includes full access to all conference sessions, networking with approximately 300 delegates from 13 countries, admission to the Conference Opening Reception, and opportunities to provide input into the development of practical guides which will be translated and disseminated widely after the conference.  Learn more about conference bursaries
