This interactive, interdisciplinary workshop invites UBC students in human and health services programs to explore the realities of family caregiving, its challenges, resilience, and love, directly from community caregivers.

Through personal stories and small group discussions, you will hear from caregivers about the emotional highs and lows of supporting loved ones with chronic health conditions. This workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn from community experts and collaborate with students across diverse healthcare disciplines.

What to Expect:

  • Inspiring panel discussion featuring caregivers sharing real-life experiences.
  • Small group conversations to reflect, connect, and share insights with students.
  • A deeper understanding of the challenges and rewards of family caregiving.

This event is open only to UBC students in human and health services programs.
