Patients’ Experience as Mentors in an Interprofessional Education Program
Paula Riganti and Ashley Mollar-Hanson will present a study of mentorship in the Health Mentors program at the CHES Celebration of Scholarship conference.
The purpose of this study is to take an in-depth look at the outcomes of being a mentor in the UBC Health Mentors Program. They will present the results of a survey of past and present Health Mentors to answer the following research questions: 1) What are the benefits of being a UBC health mentor? and 2) How are the mentor benefits related to the way the UBC HMP is designed?
