Orientation of Interprofessional Health Mentors Program 2024-2025, October 7, 2024

Registration is Required.

The orientation will provide detailed information about the program, and there will be time for each group (3-4 students and a mentor) to get to know each other and work together.

Objectives:

  • Describe the main features of the Health Mentors program and your roles and responsibilities in it.
  • Agree how the group will work together as a self-managed team (collaboration and problem solving), with attention to respectful communication, inclusion of all group members in learning, maintenance of a safe learning environment and respect for boundaries and confidentiality.
  • Describe your profession’s role and potential contribution to the mentor’s health care team.
