Health Advocacy Workshop for OT Students
After successful pilot workshops last year, more workshops involving patient partners in teaching health advocacy will be offered as part of the curriculum in physical therapy, occupational therapy, and pharmacy programs.
The next workshop is scheduled with occupational therapy students on September 30th and will be delivered online. The workshops use real cases facilitated by patient and community partners to help students learn about different kinds of advocacy and how they might work with patients to effect change in practice.
Upcoming Workshops
Join us in person for a meaningful evening of learning and connection, co-hosted with Pathways Serious Mental Illness Society (light refreshments served).
