Learning from Persons Living with HIV

Oct 15 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Online via Zoom
Patient and Community Partnership for Education (PCPE), in collaboration with community partners, invites you to a community-led interprofessional workshop featuring individuals with lived experience of HIV. Through personal stories and small-group discussions, participants will gain insight into the experiences and challenges of living with HIV, including navigating healthcare, stigma, and the social impacts of the condition. The session will create space for meaningful conversation, questions, and connection while highlighting the importance of empathy, respect, and understanding in healthcare. By the end of the session, participants will have a deeper understanding of the lived experience of HIV and the role healthcare professionals can play in providing compassionate, respectful, and person-centred care. Participants will also learn about community-based support services, advocacy, and resources available to people living with HIV. Register
