Save the Date: 15th Annual Interprofessional Health Mentors Symposium, March 31, 5:30 – 7:30pm

The 15th Annual Interprofessional Health Mentors Symposium will take place on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, in the West Atrium of the Life Sciences Centre at UBC.

The symposium celebrates the culmination of a year-long, patient-engaged learning experience that brings together approximately 150 students from 11 health professional programs and community mentors living with chronic conditions or disabilities, or are care givers. Throughout the year, students and health mentors meet regularly to reflect on lived experience, patient- and community-centred care, and interprofessional practice.

At the symposium, groups will share their learning through creative, interactive poster-board displays highlighting meaningful insights, questions, and moments of growth. The focus is on learning and reflection—what participants have come to understand individually and collectively. We warmly invite you to join us to engage with mentors and students and explore the perspectives and insights that have emerged from this year’s program.
