2025 Celebration of Scholarship: PULPIT Poster Presentation
On October 22nd, Darren Lauscher and Angela Towle presented the PULPIT project at the UBC Faculty of Medicine’s Celebration of Scholarship. The PULPIT project aims to improve the authenticity of undergraduate interprofessional education by actively involving patients in teaching and learning.
The consortium is funded by ERASMUS+ agency of the European Union and includes institutions from five countries (Belgium, Canada, Portugal, Netherlands, Slovenia). Using an international survey, focus groups and key informant interviews the group is developing international recommendations and open access educational resources to support PUbLic and Patient InvolvemenT in interprofessional education of undergraduate healthcare students (PULPIT).
Members of the PULPIT consortium will be in Vancouver to present at the 3rd international conference on Where’s the Patient’s Voice in Health Professional Education? November 12-15th. They will also present at UBC Health on November 12th, 12-1pm.
